James Yoonil Auh
Director
James Yoonil Auh is the dean of the School of Information Technology at KyungHee (Cyber) University, where he has also served as the chair of the Department of Computers and Engineering and vice president.
Before joining the university, James was a visiting scholar and faculty member at Seoul National University, vice president of the National Labor College, director of online technology at Central Michigan University, and associate director of New York University.
He also served as the head researcher on the military MOOC project for the Special Education Research and Planning Committee of the Ministry of Defense (2016~2017), vice chairman of the Special Committee on Future Education of the Republic of Korea (2015~2016), chairman of the Special Committee for Citizens MOOC for the Governors Association of the Republic of Korea (2015~2016), Google Scholar (CourseBuilder LMS) (2014~2015), and a final-round judge at the International Shanghi Music Composition Competition (2018~2020).
James has a doctorate degree in instructional technology and a master's degree in computing and cognition from Columbia University in New York, as well as bachelor's and master's degrees from the Juilliard School.
